In a heartfelt tribute to India’s journey to freedom, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) proudly leads the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025, celebrating the nation’s independence and inspiring patriotism among its staff. The enthusiasm was evident at the General Manager/NFR (Construction) office, where Arun Kr. Chaudhary, General Manager/NFR (Construction) led a gathering of officers and employees united in their dedication to the nation’s values. The event was a true celebration of collective pride and commitment.
As part of the 4th edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the Personnel Department/Construction Organization organized a Tiranga Yatra on 12th August 2025. More than 200 officers, staff and representatives from NFREU and NFRMU along with senior officials, marched with great patriotism waving the Indian National Flag, raising slogans and inspiring communities to bring the Tiranga into every home and heart. To further encourage participation, a selfie booth was set up at the GM/Con/NFR office premises, motivating personnel to capture and share their pride on the national platform harghartiranga.com, turning individual enthusiasm into a collective celebration.
Alongside these activities, a short film highlighting the importance of the Tiranga and India’s freedom struggle was screened in the conference hall, inspiring a renewed sense of duty and pride among officers and staff. Arun Kr. Chaudhary encouraged everyone to uphold honesty and integrity values that truly define patriotism and public service.
In a meaningful gesture, NFR distributed National Flags to all officers and staff to hoist at their homes from 13th to 15th August 2025, ensuring that the tricolor flies not only at workplaces but proudly in every household. Through these initiatives, NFR stands united in celebrating India’s heritage and inspiring all citizens to keep the spirit of patriotism alive.
