Ange Postecoglou insists he wants to stay and build on Tottenham's success after .

Spurs beat a dismal 1-0 in the Basque Country, where Brennan Johnson smuggled the ball over the goalline three minutes before half-time for the only goal.

United attempted a rally in the second half, but held strong and displayed a resilience that they've often been accused of lacking during Postecoglou's time in charge. They were indebted to a superb clearance from Micky van de Ven to keep out a Rasmus Hojlund header, but other than that United never really threatened them.

There had been suggestions that Postecoglou would walk away from Spurs regardless of the result in the final, but the Australian boss clarified his position after the game.
