Reality TV fans have been spoilt over recent weeks, with the likes of Married At First Sight UK,Big Brother and Celebrity Traitors all returning to TV screens with new series.
If there wasn't already enough to choose from, Channel 4 has added a brand new reality show into the mix in the form of Worlds Apart, which premiered on 7 October.
The new programme follows 12 contestants as they embark on the ultimate treasure hunt across Japan. Six of the contestants are young adults who have never travelled alone before, while the other six are pensioners who thought they may never travel again.

Each youngster is paired with a pensioner and they are then tasked with chasing clues while travelling in Japan, all in the hopes of avoiding elimination and winning a major cash prize.
Channel 4 has teased: "With a cash prize to be won, they will need to put aside any generational differences in order to work together and become the first team to cross the finish line."
After Worlds Apart landed on TV screens on Tuesday evening, many viewers compared the programme to BBC hit show Race Across The World, which sees duos embark on an epic journey to win a cash prize.
"#Worldsapart is obviously a knock-off of #raceacrosstheworld but it shows considerable promise," one fan wrote on X, with a second adding: "Enjoying this so far, new version of race across the world (ish) #worldsapart."
A third fan said: "Been waiting for this one, to fill that Race Across The World shaped hole. And there's clues and coins for that Ch4 sprinkle."
Despite drawing comparisons to Race Across The World, Channel 4's Worlds Apart went down a treat with TV fans, who said they were already "obsessed" with the reality show.
"Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the series. #worldsapart," a fan penned, with someone else simply saying: "obsessed already #WorldsApart."
Another Worlds Apart viewer added: "I’m catching up with this new @Channel4 show, #Worldsapart . I’m 15 mins in. I want them ALL to win!!! What a joyous show," while somebody else said: "I actually quite like the idea behind this and would have loved to have done something like this with my Gran #WorldsApart."
Episodes of Worlds Apart will continue to air on a weekly basis on Channel 4 and be available to stream online after airing.
Worlds Apart airs on Tuesday evenings on Channel 4.
