Love Island star Chloe Burrows does not take things lying down. So when sister Bridie borrowed her bag without asking, she settled the score with a risky prank.
Thereality star and podcast host, 29, slipped a dreaded rogue pink sock into the wash with Bridie’s beloved holiday whites. And then she sat back and waited for the meltdown, catching it all on camera.
The relief was real when, much to Bridie’s surprise, her whites came out with not a hint of pink. It had all been a cheeky set-up as Chloe had a secret weapon up her sleeve.

She had popped in a Colour Catcher sheet, designed with 100 per cent colour-protect technology to stop colours running in the wash. “I’m not usually one for revenge, but when Bridie stole my handbag for a night out and then lost it, I knew I had to get creative,” Chloe said.
“I thought chucking her favourite whites in with a pink sock would freak her out... I mean, that’s everyone’s laundry nightmare, right? Bridie’s face when I pulled them out was priceless!” The pink sock in the wash nightmare is exactly the kind of mishap that sends most Brits into a panic.
Laundry disasters are a real worry for Brits. According to a new survey by Colour Catcher, nearly three-quarters (72%) admit they’ve experienced colour bleeds. To avoid accidents, 66% play it safe by never mixing colours, while almost a third (31%) go so far as to wash clothes less often.
“Our research shows just how much fear Brits still have when it comes to colour runs, when they really shouldn’t. People are avoiding their favourite clothes, spending money on professional washes, and even risking arguments at home over ruined outfits,” said Alice Cavey from Colour Catcher.
