Coronation Street spoilers: Crash horror, Lisa 'spirals' and pregnancy bombshell

Spoilers for Coronation Street next week reveal a schedule shake-up, just as the ITV soap airs some big twists.

There's an episode missing as it will not be airing on Wednesday, and instead only two episodes will air. Monday and Friday next week see some big moments and discoveries, including a horror crash and a crime.

Carl Webster drags teens Brody and Dylan into his dodgy dealings once more, but a stolen car leads to chaos. With Carl struggling to pay the demand money to Tracy Barlow, who knows about his affair with Abi Franklin, he gives the teens a job to do.

As Dylan and Brody go speeding in a stolen car, they're caught out by George Shuttleworth - but danger strikes. A character is left seriously injured in hospital as it seems the boys run someone over.

Spoilers have teased that person could be Betsy Swain, as a car speeds towards her. In the fallout to the incident, detective Kit Green reveals the car has been found, but the driver or drivers have torched it in a bid to cover their tracks.

But will Kit find out his son Brody is involved? George ends up telling Dylan he knows he was driving the car, as the street deals with the dramatic events. With someone in hospital, Dylan fears the worst but tells George he was wrong.

Amid Abi and Carl's affair continuing as she returns from her trip with husband Kevin Webster, Carl's brother, she's confused when she spots Dylan calling Carl. Carl ends up confessing to having the boys stealing cars for him - but how will Abi react?

As for Betsy, it's teased her birthday could end in tragedy amid the car crash. After being out all night, Betsy causes drama with her mum Lisa Swain as she celebrates her 18th birthday. The family gathers for her party though, with Betsy remembering her late mum Becky with a toast.

When Betsy announces she's meeting her mates in town to continue the celebrations, Lisa annoys her as she quizzes her on her social life. The pair end up having a disagreement, as Betsy is keen for her mum to let her live her live and not interfere.

While Lisa is just trying to show that she cares, she risk pushing Betsy away as her daughter tells her she's no longer a little girl. She soon drops the confession that she slept with Dylan the night before, and not long after she storms out of the flat.

As Betsy heads out she leaves a voice message for Dylan, but amid sparks flying for the pair what does she say? Shortly after she leaves a voicemail for her mum, but just as she's speaking a car comes speeding towards her, causing her to scream out.

Suddenly we hear the car hitting something causing a loud bang. But has Betsy been hit, and is she the character left injured in hospital? The next day, we see Lisa spiralling as she reels in shock after the events of the night before.

With this thought to be the moment from the trailer where she looks shocked and emotional, has something happened to Betsy? Or could there be a big shock in store?

Finally next week there's a baby mystery when a pregnancy test is found. Lily Platt tries to skive off school, her dad David Platt is having none of it. He later tells his sister Sarah that it's over some boy.

She's concerned, and even more so when David finds a pregnancy test in the bins. David claims Lisa and partner Carla Connor have been dumping their rubbish in his bin, and so he suspects the pregnancy test is Betsy's.

But Sarah questions whether it's actually Lily who is pregnant. All will be revealed at the end of the week as the person comes forward - but who is it?
