One Emmerdale star has revealed all on a major baby twist, even hinting about the DNA result. Amid a surrogacy storyline on the ITV soap viewers learned Charity Dingle was pregnant on Thursday.
But after vowing to carry a child for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden, things took a turn when it emerged she'd slept with her ex Ross Barton. With it very clear she now doesn't know if she is pregnant with Sarah and her partner Jacob Gallagher's embryo or her and Ross' baby, a DNA twist is being teased.
It comes as Ross confronted Charity in the latest episode about their night of passion, asking her if he was the father. Now actor Michael Parr who plays Ross has hinted about the DNA result and what Charity is hiding, as well as revealing Ross will not drop this until he knows the truth.

With Charity set to rule Ross out as the father, Mike said the character refuses to believe her and will be left convinced he is the dad. He explained: "He doesn’t believe her. I think he's desperate to find out the answer because it comes with such responsibility, having another child.
"It's a lot of pressure on him because he's not doing so well with work right now and his living situation isn’t ideal as he's always swapping and changing. Plus he’s just met his brother Lewis. There's a lot going on for him in his head, so he just needs to get to the bottom of this. So he can get a good night's sleep."
On whether Charity is hiding the truth about the baby, Mike added: "Nobody should trust Charity. She's a menace." He revealed Ross will get to the bottom of it any way possible.
Mike said: "Ross is like a dog with a bone he’s not going to let this lie and won’t be fobbed off by Charity trying to baffle him with science. He knows Charity too well and he saw her face in the pub when everyone was excited and celebrating.
"Her expression said it all and he clocked it. He knows she either knows or she’s in doubt and he’s going to keep going until he gets the truth." With it revealed there "are a lot of twists and turns" ahead in the storyline, Mike added: "It's been so much fun working with Emma.
"It's always a joy as they write so well for Ross and Charity. I’m grateful to be back on the show." Fans can see the storyline play out in upcoming episodes, but will Charity be exposed?
Charity actress Emma Atkins teased: "This has created a huge element of conflict for her and as an actor you can't hope for a better storyline. When you're just in the midst of chaos, dilemma and moral questioning of your own character."
