A believed to have during a jump was living with a new man before her death after splitting with her husband, according to devastated pals.
, 32, had completed more than 400 jumps when she took to the skies again last Sunday. But this time, it's been claimed that , dying instantly when she hit the ground in County Durham.
Initial reports painted the events as a tragic accident, but a statement from Jade's skydiving group has labelled the incident a "deliberate act", and the subsequent discovery of a note disclosing her intentions has lead police to mark the tragedy as non-suspicious. Friends have now revealed that since the end of last year, Jade had been living in lodgings occupied by fellow skydivers in Shotton, County Durham. She had told pals the man she was living with was her boyfriend.

One said: "She had been staying in the digs since the end of last year. There are bunk beds for skydivers who come from all over the country to parachute. Jade rented a double room and told us she was staying with her boyfriend. No one is living there now." Jade had been married to a solicitor, but it's understood that the couple became estranged, according to the .
Posting images of the couple's wedding day in October 2019, her mother Liz Samuels wrote: "Happy birthday to our beautiful daughter Jade Damarell - all grown up and her first birthday as a married lady, but always my little girl."

According to reports, the keen skydiver - who had already completed around 80 jumps this year alone - deliberately chose not to open her parachute as she plummeted towards the ground.
One friend has revealed how she made 11 jumps in the two days prior to her death. The friend told the MailOnline: "This wasn't a skydiving accident - we believe she intended to take her life, sadly. She skydived with someone else, broke off and turned onto her back and impacted. She chose not to open her parachute and she landed on her back."
Emergency responders raced to the scene close to Wrefords Farm in County Durham, but she couldn't be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's understood that an inquest will be held after a file was passed to the coroner. In a statement, SkyHigh Skydiving confirmed Jade's death, adding that the police had given "all indications" that the act was "delberate".
A spokesman said: "It is with great sadness that we confirm a tragic incident took place on 28 April 2025 involving a valued member of our community. All indications from the police and British Skydiving are that this was a deliberate act taken to end her own life.
"This heartbreaking news has deeply affected all who knew her, and our thoughts are with her family and friends as they face this unimaginable loss. At this incredibly difficult time, we ask for privacy and compassion for those grieving."
