A man is convinced he's found the location of the 'world's most majestic Aldi' store – and it's right here in the UK. Even though the supermarket reels in customers looking for bargain Specialbuys, it doesn't mean it can't be fancy!

To prove this, a customer headed into an Aldi shop in Cheshire that's known for providing a nice shopping experience. He filmed his day out, beginning with a front view of himself with his hand over his mouth as he appears to be amazed at what’s in front of him.

He then flips the camera to show the outside of an Aldi store in Macclesfield. This particular store is part of the company’s huge £650m UK expansion plans that will see the creation of around 30 new store openings in 2025.

While it looks familiar with its branding and facilities, it has a super modern feel that customers seem to enjoy. What's more, the outlet on Queen Victoria Street is surrounded by lush green hills and historic buildings.

There are plenty of other shops nearby too – and the TikToker jokingly added: "There's even a Sport's Direct next to it."

The customer has sparked debate by calling it “the most majestic Aldi in the world” – and plenty were excited by the assessment.

The short clip garnered 77,000 likes and plenty of positive comments. One gushed: “The roof is so goddamn clean.”

Another said: “Macclesfield mentioned let’s go." A third remarked: “Got to love Macclesfield Aldi”

Meanwhile, a fourth gushed: “Omg Macclesfield Aldi is the best.”

Despite the rave reviews, other users in the comments section of the post insisted it didn’t look any different from the budget supermarket they are familiar with.

One user said: “Mate that looks like every other Aldi in existence.”

Another observed: “This is literally just one of them supermarkets that looks like it used to be a train station. What do you mean majestic?”

A third pointed out: "Not that good mate, it looks average." And a fourth laughed: “Macclesfield Aldi is far from majestic.”

A further user shared their disbelief, writing: “As if someone is romanticising Macclesfield Aldi.”
