Avocados have become a staple for many people - but they can be a nightmare to try and eat. Whether you slice them or mash them, everyone has their own technique.
They are full of nutrients and vitamins as well as healthy fats which makes them a popular choice and now one woman has shared how to make the easiest and most spreadable avocado with her simple trick. Taking to TikTok, Sach Letap, who goes by the name @sachletapp called it 'genuis' after seeing someone else do it online.
She first said you simply cut the top off the avocado instead of slicing it down the middle: "You then scoop the sides and use the sides as a spread rather than mashing it all up and then spreading it."

Demonstrating how she simply just scoops out the avocado with her knife and spreading it on the toast, Sach added: "I feel like it's going to last ages," and said she's only used a small about for two slices of bread.
"Tell me that's not genius, and now I've got a realy easy avocado on toast," and in terms of the stone in the middle, Sach said you simply just go around it.
People were loving her simple trick, and the video has already racked up 184,000 views and over 10,000 likes. One fan commented: "That’s changed the game for me," while a second said: "This makes so much sense!!!" And a third chimed: "Omg what a hack!"
Others offered some advice for keeping the avocado ripe and not turning brown, as one person said: "Keep it in water (jar is ideal but any container works) in the fridge so it doesn’t go bad in 2 seconds!" Another penned: "Put that on a plate in the fridge to stop oxygen getting to it and it won’t go bad too quick either."
Including one avocado into your daily diet could help you live longer and ward of diseases. This is according to a new study led by scientists from the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State, USA. The recent research indicates that consuming avocado daily offers benefits far beyond taste.
A single medium-sized avocado is packed with essential nutrients. It is rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, particularly oleic acid, known for its protective effects on cardiovascular health. Additionally, avocados are a great source of fibre - providing about 10 grams per fruit—supporting digestion and gut health.
Their high potassium content helps regulate blood pressure by balancing sodium levels in the body. Maintaining a healthy weight is another key factor in longevity, and avocados support this by promoting satiety, reducing the likelihood of overeating.
Additionally, regular avocado consumption has been linked to a lower risk of chronic diseases, including diabetes, cancer, and inflammatory conditions - all of which significantly impact life expectancy.
