Affordable 'life saver' robot vacuum drops to under £100 in Amazon's October sale

During the Prime Day Sales, a robot vacuum that shoppers are saying is a 'life saver' has been slashed in price, offering 50% off. The eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is down to £99.99 from £199.99 on Amazon and it is being snapped up fast.

Whether it's a home with furry friends running around, kids or dust lingering, this robot vacuum can do all the work effortlessly, meaning buyers don't have to spend hours cleaning. With up to 4,000 Pa suction, 'hair, crumbs and dust' can be removed from carpets and hard floors with ease.

In comparison to previous models such as the eufy Clean G40 robot vacuum, this one is said to have 160% more power and can detect carpet types and adapt the intensity of cleaning to suit different surfaces. The vacuum is also compact and only 3.19 inches in size so it can easily get under furniture and tight spaces to ensure everything is cleaned correctly.

It only makes 55 dB of noise - the equivalent of a normal level conversation or a running refrigerator - so it can work in the background quietly without disturbing anyone. Shoppers can connect their vacuum to their phones via Bluetooth to customise cleaning schedules, spot cleaning, suction levels and any other tools needed.

The vacuum also comes with an active detangling roller brush which can automatically remove tangled hair to make the cleaning process easier. It has a 120 minute run time and can climb up to 18mm so a home can be cleaned in one session if needed.

Argos also has another best seller available as the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Cordless Robot Vacuum & Mop is priced at £300. This option is suitable for a range of surfaces including carpets and rugs, wool carpet, hard floors and laminate flooring. It can also run for 110 minutes and it comes with a docking station for charging.

Currys has the HOOVER Turbo Slim Hydro Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner in Black also available for £179 on its website. With a run time of 160 minues, this vacuum self empties into a three litre bin and automatically returns to its docking station to recharge when done.

The eufy vacuum cleaner on Amazon has got a range of five star ratings on its website. One person said: "This robot hoover is a life saver in a busy home! I have 2 children and 2 cats and buying this has made life feel so much easier!"

Another wrote: "Amazing robot cleaner. I've had it for some months now and can say that it does exactly as advertised. I found this very easy to set up once I downloaded the app and the manual online and followed the instructions. It connected easily to my wifi and is easy to set up from the app. It's sturdy, strong and cleans properly. It struggles sometimes to return to its base station but with some guide, it eventually does. I have not had any problem with this robovac thus far. I highly recommend this as it has made my life a lot easier."
