Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson are spending their remaining days at Royal Lodge doing one thing, according to sources. The disgraced former Duke of York has agreed to leave his home of more than 20 years in Windsor, after he was officially stripped of his HRH style and his prince title by his brother, the King, due to his ongoing links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Today, Saturday, November 8, a van was pictured at the gates of Royal Lodge delivering cases of De Vaux Champagne from a local wine company. It is not known whether the delivery was sent to Andrew's mansion. Aside from the former prince's lavish, 30-room mansion, the Royal Lodge estate is home to six other properties, as well as a gardener's cottage, the Chapel Lodge and security accommodation.
Meanwhile, new reports have claimed that Andrew and his ex-wife are barely doing anything together in their soon-to-be former home, spending their time apart and only meeting for meals.
An insider told The Sun: "Andrew and Sarah are leading separate lives - at different ends and on different wings.
"But they come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and this is where they talk about their futures.
"They have been heard having some pretty intense conversations about what is going on.
"Sarah, in particular, is panicking about what comes next and she is not in a good place.
"She fears being caught in the crosshairs and is worried about herself and her and Andrew's daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.
"But she is particularly fearful for Andrew as she knows he was at the centre of the Epstein scandal.
"She has talked about 'dark forces' potentially targeting him."
Andrew has tainted the reputation of the royal family through his association with Epstein and, for many years, has been dogged by allegations that he sexually abused Virginia Giuffre after she was trafficked by the financier.
He has strenuously denied the allegations.
Andrew will move to the King's private Sandringham estate in Norfolk sometime in the new year as he begins his internal exile.
