Keeping floors spotless can feel like a never-ending task, particularly in busy homes or for those with pets. That's why many households look for cleaning tools that deliver exceptional suction and make light work of dust, hair and everyday dirt.
One brand in particular - Dyson - has earned high praise and respect from users. Now, they can grab the Dyson V8™ Advanced vacuum for £229.99 down from £329.99 on their website, saving shoppers £100.
This vacuum packs a high-powered 130 air watts, which is said to be 10% more suction than previous models. That is thanks to its digital motor, which spins at a high 110,000rpm.
With this vacuum, shoppers will get up to 40 minutes of cleaning on a single charge, so there's plenty of time to get around the house in one go. If users have pets, the Digital Motobar head is a game-changer as it can untangle and whisk away hair straight into the bin.
The sealed filtration system also traps 99.99% of tiny particles which will leave the air feeling fresh, and there are two power modes so users can adapt to their needs. It is also designed to be quieter due to special noise-reducing materials.
If this isn't the one for everyone, customers could instead try the Vax Air Strecth Max Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner for £90 from Argos which is a multi-cyclonic upright vacuum that has a full size dust bin capacity and is suitable for carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery. Another is the HyLite 2 Lightweight Cordless Vacuum for £149.99 from Gtech which is a light 1.5kg, has tripled-filtered dust bags and includes a duster attachment.
The Dyson vacuum has a high 4.4 out of 5-star rating on their website, however, from almost 14,000 reviews. One person said: "Unbelievable power and pickup of dust and hair. Very pleased and should have purchased a Dyson earlier." Another wrote: "Ease of use. Reliability. Good battery. More attachments than I got with my previous Dyson."
"Performance great... easy to use. It is ideal for carrying upstairs," said another shopper. Not everyone agreed, however, with one person saying: "The appliance is effective and easy to use.
The only significant issue is that it does blow back into one's face particularly when in short mode hand-held. Another said: "The suction is great, the noise over carpets is great, the noise over wooden/smooth floors is not great."
